Allocation of Players and Non-Players to a Team (via Team Management) - Single Team

First, log into your club's Play Football Admin account using the link below.

Once logging in, click on "TEAMS" and then "Team Management".

Ensure the season is set to your club's current season. Click on the members icon on the far right side to open up Squad Maintenace. 

Apply any required filters to isolate your desired registrant group (see table for more information), once you have set your filters click "Filter".

FootballFootball Type registered against (from the Product)
Registration sub statusSub Status of registrant in process flow (eg Active)
Allocation statusIf a registrant has been allocated to a team already under the same Football Type and Season year
RoleRegistrant's role
GenderRegistrants gender taken from the gender question in the registration process
AgeAge of registrant by the age calculation date for the chosen Reg Period
Registration PeriodRegistration Period where registrations have been made
SchoolThe school identified by the registrant's 'parent' in the registration process
Teams FilterThe Season year, Team Group and Team Name where that registrant may of been allocated to previously

 eg. if I'm allocating an U7s team and want to keep last season's U6s team together I will filter to find that particular U6 team

You should now see registrants under the 'Available Players' section, you can apply further filtering by name as required. To add players to the 'Squad List' you simply click the '+' button next to the player's name, alternatively, players can be removed from allocation by selecting the 'x' in Remove column in the 'Squad List'

When a player has already been allocated to a team for the same Football Type + Season, the Available Players section will show an green tick against the player's name. A player not yet allocated will show as an orange x. 

When a player is allocated in the Squad List section and is not Active, the system shows this by highlighting their name in red and putting an orange x against their name. A green tick denotes that the player is Active. 

Once you are satisfied with your squad, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page.

To allocate Non-Players to the squad, click on the box next to 'Non-Player Roles' and choose your non-players for the squad, again, once you are satisfied with the list, then click "Save". 

Allocation of Players to a Team (via Team Management) - Bulk Team

This function allows you to:

  • View up to four teams in one screen AND
  • Allocate or move players between these teams

Click on "TEAMS" and then "Team Selection".

All changes made in this screen will manifest in the single squad allocation screen and visa-versa.

Select the season, the team group and teams that you wish allocate participants to. 

Once selected, you will be presented with the screen below. Apply any filters, then click "Filter". 

Drag and drop participants that you wish to have allocated in your specified team (see above video). The page refreshes the indicators (allocation status and registration status) automatically, you don't need to save the page, all changes are saved automatically. 

Allocation of Players to a Team (via Registration)

When configured, a participant can allocate themselves to a selected team during the registration process. To do so, you first need to have your teams set up in 'TEAMS' and then have them available for selection through the the Signup Form. 

Click on "REGISTRATION" and then "Signup Form Management".

Click on "+ Add Registration Form" to create a new a signup form or the 'Edit' icon to edit an existing form.

If you haven't created a singup form yet, then please follow the link below on how to do so.

Scroll down to 'Team Select Settings' and tick 'Enable Team Selection on signup forms'. Select your competition season, the team group and if you wish to make team selection not mandatory, then tick "Allow 'NO Team' preference". Once you are satisfied, click "Save". 

Participants can now select a team during the registration process.
