In this article, you will learn how to submit a product idea or enhancement for the PlayFootball Registration System.

By following the steps, you can contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform. 

Please note this is for the PlayFootball Registration and Payments platform that is currently in beta. This form is intended for Football Australia teams, Member Federations, Associations and Clubs to provide ideas/feedback on the current beta version. 


Step 1: Access the Support Page 

Navigate to the PlayFootball Support page by visiting: Click on 'New support ticket' or go directly to the new ticket page at: 


Step 2: Choose the Appropriate Category 

From the 'Help with*' dropdown menu, select 'PlayFootball Product Features/Enhancements.' 



Step 3: Fill in the Product Idea Submission Form 

Complete the form by providing the following information: 

  • - Product Feature Category (e.g., Registrations, Payments, or Data/Reporting) 

  • - Launch your idea (What’s your product idea title) 

  • - Is this a new product feature or a product enhancement idea? (Yes/No) 

  • - Description 

  • - Priority (Is this Critical, Important or Nice-to-have) 

  • - What do you do now? (What is your current process/actions) 

  • - What do you want to be able to do? 

  • - Email address 

  • - Group (e.g. FA team, Member Federation, Association or Club name) 

  • - Attachments (if any) 



Step 4: Submit the Form 

After filling in all the required fields, submit the form. An auto-generated email will be sent to the email address you provided to confirm your submission.

Example of a Completed Product Idea Submission Form: 

  • Product Feature Category: Registrations, Payments & Data/Reporting 

  • Launch your idea: "Automatic Payment Reminders for Upcoming Registration Deadlines" 

  • Is this a new product feature or a product enhancement idea? Enhancement idea 

  • Description: With the current system, many users forget to renew their registration, leading to a delay in payment and an administrative burden on the club. To address this issue, I suggest adding automatic payment reminders for upcoming registration deadlines. Users would receive a notification email a week before the registration deadline, reminding them to renew their registration and make payment. 

  • Priority: Important 

  • What do you do now? Currently, users need to actively monitor the registration deadline and remember to make payments before the deadline. This can lead to missed deadlines and penalties. 

  • What do you want to be able to do? With automatic payment reminders, users will receive timely notifications about their upcoming registration deadline and avoid missing the deadline and paying penalties.
